When it comes to recommended maintenance, Mazda includes two main service schedules. This means that every 5k miles, you should change the oil/filter; inspect lighting; check the clutch, brake, coolant, and washer fluid levels, and rotate and check the tires. Suspension, steering, hoses, fuel lines, and bearings should be checked every 30k miles; and belts should be inspected every 35k miles.
The manufacturer recommends SAE 0W-20 for most models in their lineup; though SAE 5W-30 is recommended for the CX-9 model. You can choose conventional, more affordable, or synthetic, which is longer lasting and cleaner and delivers better fuel economy and lower emissions.
Even though there are many reasons why your Japanese vehicle won’t start, the most obvious reason may be the battery. If you leave your lights on, then it’s logical to assume that the charge is out. The first indicator of a low charge is if it needs longer to start your Mazda when you turn the key. There may be other causes why your automobile won’t start, so it’s best to consult a certified Mazda specialist.
If the check engine light in your vehicle occurs, it’s a signal that something isn’t right with the engine. This is an upsetting alert to get, but a Mazda repair shop will be able to get to the bottom of the issue in no time.
The average battery lasts between 3 to 5 years, depending on care and use. The easiest way to skip a battery issue is to supervise your car’s battery health. This usually happens during a routine maintenance inspection. Most auto batteries, like other perishable items, feature an expiration date clearly marked.
